The COMPsys research group has the expertise for the implementation on microcontrollers and field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) of nonlinear models, controllers and state observers.

In particular, our activities concern the implementation of:

  • implicit/explicit linear/nonlinear exact/approximate model predictive control;
  • black-box and model-based observers;
  • synthetic inertia controllers for power grids;
  • compensators for rate-dependent hysteresis.
